Acting Nurse Manager from October 2025 to date. • Midwifery department head from July 2024 to date. • Conduct antenatal assessments, monitor maternal-foetal wellbeing and progress of labour. • Conduct deliveries, including spontaneous vaginal birth and active management of third stage. • Manage obstetric emergencies such as postpartum haemorrhage, preeclampsia/eclampsia, antepartum haemorrhage, premature rupture of membranes and pre-term labour. • Provide postpartum support including breastfeeding education and perineal suturing. • Perform neonatal assessments and neonatal resuscitation. • Teach childbirth preparation class to expectant parents. • Provide family planning services such as Intra uterine device, Jadelle and Implanon insertion & removal and family planning counselling. • Provide Comprehensive Abortion Care Services. • Pre & Post-operative management of obstetric/gynaecological surgeries such as caesarean section, myomectomy, salpingectomy and total abdominal hysterectomy. • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection prevention protocols • Delegate duties and support clinical decision making.
