To evaluate accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting and procedural standards, prepare, review, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts. Manage the company's cash flow and working capital requirements. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Ensure timely preparation and filing of statutory taxes, including VAT, PAYE, corporate income tax, and withholding taxes. Coordinate external audits and respond to audit findings. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets. Monitor financial performance and prepare management reports with recommendations. Supervise payroll preparation and ensure compliance with SSNIT and tax regulations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. Manage banking relationships, loan facilities, and investment activities. Prepare financial analyses for management decision-making. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff. Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Support procurement processes by ensuring financial compliance.
