Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Geospatial Analyst to join our team in Bolgatanga, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support urban planning and development projects. The position requires a strong understanding of geospatial technology, urban planning principles, and data analysis techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to support urban planning and development projects
- Develop and implement geospatial data models and algorithms to support data analysis and visualization
- Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and engineers to integrate geospatial data into urban planning and development projects
- Develop and maintain geospatial data visualizations and reports to support decision-making
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of geospatial technology and urban planning principles
- Proficiency in geospatial data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, R)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Technology, Urban Planning, or related field
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in geospatial technology and urban planning
Salary: 5,000 – 10,000 SSP per month
