Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our team in Cape Coast, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services are accessible to people with disabilities and meet the highest standards of accessibility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accessibility and experience working with assistive technologies. They will be able to analyze complex accessibility issues and develop effective solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
The Digital Accessibility Specialist will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our products and services are designed and developed with accessibility in mind. They will also provide training and support to our clients on accessibility best practices and provide guidance on how to implement accessibility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility audits and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement accessibility solutions for our products and services
- Provide training and support to clients on accessibility best practices
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accessibility is integrated into product design and development
- Stay up-to-date with the latest accessibility standards and technologies
Required Skills
- Strong background in accessibility and experience working with assistive technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in accessibility and assistive technologies
