Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our specialized service team in Techiman. This role is critical to our after-sales operations, focusing on the advanced troubleshooting and electronic diagnostics of modern vehicle systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced electronic diagnostics using specialized computer-based equipment to identify faults in engine management, transmission, and safety systems.

- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop complex repair strategies for hybrid and electric vehicle components.
- Maintain detailed digital records of all diagnostic tests, repairs performed, and parts utilized.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and service advisors regarding complex repair requirements.
- Ensure all workshop tools and diagnostic equipment are calibrated and maintained according to strict protocols.
Required Skills
- Expertise in using computerized diagnostic tools and automotive scanning software.
- Deep understanding of internal combustion engines, hybrid powertrains, and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data patterns.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and service management.
- High level of precision and attention to detail in technical documentation.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required. Professional certifications in automotive electronics or hybrid vehicle technology are highly advantageous.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, preferably within a franchised dealership or a high-end service center. Proven experience with electronic control systems is essential.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from SSP 8,500 to SSP 12,000, depending on the candidate’s expertise and technical certifications.
