Job Overview
The Electrical Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the Bank’s energy team in Ghana and providing technical expertise on energy projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working on energy projects in Africa.
The Electrical Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the Bank’s energy portfolio in Ghana, including identifying new business opportunities, developing project proposals, and managing project implementation. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Government of Ghana and other stakeholders on energy sector development.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Bank’s energy team in Ghana and provide technical expertise on energy projects
- Manage the Bank’s energy portfolio in Ghana, including identifying new business opportunities, developing project proposals, and managing project implementation
- Provide technical assistance to the Government of Ghana and other stakeholders on energy sector development
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the energy sector, including government officials, private sector companies, and civil society organizations
- Represent the Bank at energy sector events and conferences
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience working on energy projects in Africa
- Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, including experience with power generation, transmission, and distribution
- Excellent project management skills, including experience managing large-scale energy projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience working with government officials, private sector companies, and civil society organizations
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience
At least 5 years of experience working on energy projects in Africa
