GPHA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join its Communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies to promote the authority’s image and reputation.
Job Overview
The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies to promote the authority’s image and reputation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications team to develop and implement public relations campaigns, manage media relations, and provide communications support to the authority’s management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote the authority’s image and reputation
- Manage media relations and respond to media inquiries
- Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communications materials
- Provide communications support to the authority’s management team
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and community leaders
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong media relations and crisis communications skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
