Job Overview
Tamale International School is looking for a motivated and qualified Teacher to join its academic staff in Tamale. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons, support student development, and contribute to maintaining high academic standards within the institution.
This position is suited for educators passionate about shaping young minds, implementing modern teaching strategies, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. The teacher will work closely with school leadership and other faculty members to enhance student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective classroom lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
Develop engaging teaching materials and lesson plans.
Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and classroom participation.
Provide academic guidance and individual student support.
Maintain classroom discipline and positive learning environments.
Monitor student progress and prepare academic reports.
Integrate digital learning tools and educational technology into lessons.
Collaborate with other teachers on curriculum development and school programs.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic events.
Support extracurricular activities such as clubs, workshops, and school competitions.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant academic discipline.
3–5 years of teaching experience in primary or secondary education.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and student assessment methods.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools.
Salary & Benefits
Annual Salary: Approximately GHS 36,000 – GHS 48,000 per year
