Job Overview
We are seeking a Digital Forestry Specialist to join our team in Mankessim, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation efforts.
The Digital Forestry Specialist will work closely with our forestry team to design and implement digital tools and systems that support forest monitoring, inventory, and management. They will also collaborate with our conservation team to develop digital solutions for habitat restoration and species conservation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forestry, environmental science, or a related field, as well as experience with digital technologies and data analysis. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry and conservation efforts
- Design and implement digital tools and systems for forest monitoring, inventory, and management
- Collaborate with conservation team to develop digital solutions for habitat restoration and species conservation
- Work closely with forestry team to develop and implement digital solutions for forest management
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support conservation and forestry efforts
Required Skills
- Strong background in forestry, environmental science, or related field
- Experience with digital technologies and data analysis
