Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Project Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of renewable energy initiatives in Ghana. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical and financial feasibility assessments for solar, wind, and hybrid energy projects.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data on resource availability, grid integration, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, cost‑benefit analyses, and risk assessments for senior management.
  • Support the development of project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, local authorities, and external consultants to ensure compliance with Ghanaian energy policies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in the preparation of grant applications and funding proposals for international climate finance mechanisms.

Required Skills

Education

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Advanced certifications such as PMP, LEED Green Associate, or a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience

A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in renewable energy project analysis, feasibility studies, or related consultancy work is required. Experience working on projects within Ghana or other West African markets will be considered a strong asset.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 3,000 to 5,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the compensation package.
