  • Collaborate with government agencies and local municipalities to implement sustainable urban energy planning.
  • Mentor junior engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  • Manage project lifecycles from initial conceptualization and procurement to commissioning and final handover.

Required Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in energy modeling software such as PVSyst, HOMER, or Helioscope.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical distribution systems and high-voltage equipment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable business insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with C-suite executives.
  • Deep understanding of the Ghana Grid Code and international IEC/IEEE standards.
  • Fluency in English and a working knowledge of local languages spoken in the Upper East Region is highly advantageous.

Education

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Systems, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Professional certification as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Experience
