Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Engineer to join our team in Cape Coast, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels, as well as providing technical support to our crew and shore-based teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, with experience working on a range of vessels and systems. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of vessels, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
• Provide technical support to crew and shore-based teams, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal vessel performance
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related field
• 5 years of experience in marine engineering, with experience working on a range of vessels and systems
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
