Job Overview
As a Digital Archivist, you will be responsible for the management and preservation of the British Council’s digital assets. You will work closely with the Information Management team to ensure that digital records are properly stored, preserved and made accessible for future use. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing digital preservation policies and procedures, as well as providing training and guidance to staff on digital archiving best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and preserve digital assets, including documents, images, audio and video files
- Develop and implement digital preservation policies and procedures
- Provide training and guidance to staff on digital archiving best practices
- Collaborate with the Information Management team to ensure that digital records are properly stored and made accessible for future use
- Develop and maintain digital asset management systems and tools
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science or related field
- 5 years of experience in digital archiving or a related field
- Knowledge of digital preservation principles and best practices
- Experience with digital asset management systems and tools
- Excellent communication and training skills
