Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy core and access network elements, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools, troubleshoot incidents, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with radio, transmission, and IT teams to integrate new technologies and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in capacity planning, network optimization, and performance tuning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and QoS concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei network equipment.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of three to five years of hands‑on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large‑scale telecom networks. Experience with mobile backhaul, LTE/5G transport, and fiber optic technologies is an advantage.
Salary
