We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Specialist to join our team in Nsawam, Ghana.
Job Overview
The Sustainable Agriculture Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable agriculture practices and technologies in Ghana. This will involve working with farmers, extension agents, and other stakeholders to promote the adoption of conservation agriculture, agroforestry, and other sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable agriculture projects and programs in Ghana
- Work with farmers and extension agents to promote the adoption of conservation agriculture and other sustainable practices
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving the sustainability of maize and wheat production in Ghana
- Develop and disseminate training materials and tools to support the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Agronomy or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in sustainable agriculture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of conservation agriculture and other sustainable practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Education
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Agronomy or a related field, with a strong background in sustainable agriculture and conservation agriculture.
Experience
The Sustainable Agriculture Specialist will have 5-7 years of experience in sustainable agriculture or a related field, with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful projects and programs.
Salary
The salary for this position is 50,000 – 80,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
