Job Overview:As a Sustainable Materials Scientist at Sabic, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable materials solutions that meet the needs of our customers and the environment. You will work closely with our research and development team to design and test new materials, and you will collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to bring these materials to market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainable materials solutions that meet customer needs and reduce environmental impact
• Design and test new materials using various techniques, including computational modeling and experimental methods
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to bring new materials to market
• Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to inform material development
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers

Required Skills:

• Master’s degree in Materials Science or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in materials science or a related field
• Strong understanding of materials properties and behavior
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Education:

• Master’s degree in Materials Science or related field
• Ph.D. in Materials Science or related field (desired)

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in materials science or a related field
• Experience in sustainable materials development and implementation
• Experience in market research and analysis
