Position Summary
Africa World Airlines is seeking a customer-focused and knowledgeable Travel Consultant to assist clients with travel planning, reservations, itinerary management, and travel advisory services. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional travel experiences while supporting revenue growth through personalized travel solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult with customers regarding domestic and international travel requirements.
- Design customized travel itineraries based on client preferences and budgets.
- Process airline reservations, hotel bookings, transportation arrangements, and travel packages.
- Provide visa guidance and destination information where applicable.
- Manage ticket issuance, modifications, cancellations, and refunds.
- Promote travel products and value-added services.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
- Maintain accurate booking records and customer profiles.
- Monitor travel regulations, airline policies, and destination updates.
- Resolve travel-related concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Educational Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.

- IATA certification is highly desirable.
Experience Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in travel consulting, tourism operations, customer service, or airline reservations.
- Experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is preferred.
- Strong understanding of international travel requirements and documentation.
