Job Overview

EDF Renewables seeks a Hydrogen Energy Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize hydrogen-based energy solutions for industrial and commercial applications in Ghana. This role supports Ghana’s transition to low-carbon energy systems while creating Employment in Ghana for skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop hydrogen production, storage, and distribution systems for renewable energy projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies for hydrogen integration in existing energy infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Provide technical expertise for hydrogen-powered energy solutions in partnership with local stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in hydrogen energy systems design and implementation
  • Proficiency in CAD software and energy modeling tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Master’s Degree in Energy Systems or Hydrogen Technology preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy systems development
  • Previous work in hydrogen energy projects or similar technologies

Salary

12,000 – 15,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
