Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forestry Specialist to join our team in Ho, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation efforts. This will include the design and implementation of digital tools and platforms to monitor and manage forest resources, as well as the development of digital training programs for local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry and conservation efforts
- Design and implement digital tools and platforms to monitor and manage forest resources
- Develop digital training programs for local communities
- Collaborate with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable solutions to environmental challenges
Required Skills:
- Strong technical skills in digital forestry and conservation
- Experience with digital tool development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or related field
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in digital forestry and conservation
