Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Specialist to join our team in Kintampo, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the protection of Ghana’s natural resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry and conservation efforts
- Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to identify and address conservation challenges
- Conduct field research and data collection to inform conservation decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
- Provide technical assistance and training to local communities and conservation staff
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in forestry and conservation, with a focus on digital solutions
- Strong technical skills in GIS, remote sensing, and data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
