Job Overview
The Chief Urban Planning Architect will lead the strategic design and implementation of large-scale urban development projects in Cape Coast and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and design of comprehensive urban master plans for residential, commercial, and industrial zones.
- Coordinate with municipal authorities to ensure all designs comply with Ghanaian building codes and international sustainability standards.
- Manage the integration of green infrastructure, including sustainable drainage systems and urban parks, into city layouts.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications for large-scale developments.

- Lead stakeholder consultations with community leaders and government officials to align project goals with local needs.

Education
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Professional certification or licensure as a Registered Architect is mandatory for this senior leadership role.
Experience
A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in urban design and architecture is required. Candidates must demonstrate a portfolio of successfully completed large-scale urban projects, preferably within emerging markets.
