Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our team in Takoradi, Ghana. As a Digital Accessibility Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services are accessible to people with disabilities.

You will work closely with our product teams to identify and prioritize accessibility issues, and develop and implement solutions to address them. You will also work with our testing teams to ensure that our products are tested for accessibility and that any issues are resolved.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with product teams to identify and prioritize accessibility issues
  • Develop and implement solutions to address accessibility issues
  • Work with testing teams to ensure that products are tested for accessibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that accessibility is integrated into all aspects of product development
  • Develop and maintain accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Provide training and support to employees on accessibility best practices

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital accessibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques

Education
