Job Overview

The Economic Development Specialist will work closely with the World Bank’s Ghana team to support the development of economic policies and programs. The Economic Development Specialist will provide technical assistance to the government and private sector to support the development of economic policies and programs.

The Economic Development Specialist will also work closely with other development partners, including the International Monetary Fund and the African Development Bank, to support the development of economic policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the government and private sector to support the development of economic policies and programs.
• Work closely with other development partners to support the development of economic policies and programs.
• Support the development of economic policies and programs, including improving infrastructure, increasing access to education and healthcare, and promoting private sector development.
• Provide technical assistance to support the implementation of economic policies and programs.
• Support the monitoring and evaluation of economic policies and programs.

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in economics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working in economic development.
• Strong technical skills in economic analysis and policy development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
