Job Overview:WWF Ghana is seeking an Environmental Impact Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and mitigating the environmental impacts of our projects and programs. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the conservation of Ghana’s natural resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk analyses for WWF Ghana’s projects and programs
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate environmental impacts and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and other organizations, to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development
- Provide technical assistance and support to WWF Ghana’s projects and programs to ensure environmental sustainability
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
