Job Overview

The Environmental Policy Analyst will play a key role in supporting WWF-Ghana’s policy and advocacy work, with a focus on environmental policy analysis and development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental policy analysis and a proven track record of working with government agencies, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to promote environmental conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze environmental policies and laws in Ghana and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement policy briefs, position papers, and other advocacy materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical support to WWF-Ghana’s conservation programs
  • Represent WWF-Ghana in national and international forums

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Policy, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in environmental policy analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders
