Job Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Policy Specialist to join our team in Nkawkaw, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental policies and programs that promote sustainable development and conservation of natural resources.
The Environmental Policy Specialist will work closely with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to develop and implement effective conservation policies and practices. They will also be responsible for conducting research and analysis on environmental policy issues and developing recommendations for policy changes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental policies and programs that promote sustainable development and conservation of natural resources.
- Conduct research and analysis on environmental policy issues and develop recommendations for policy changes.
- Work closely with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to develop and implement effective conservation policies and practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, NGOs, and local community leaders.
- Provide technical assistance and support to government agencies and NGOs on environmental policy issues.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in environmental policy, conservation biology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental policy development and implementation.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
