Job Overview
Unity Technologies Ghana Limited is seeking a visionary Extended Reality (XR) Content Creator to design and develop immersive virtual environments, augmented reality applications, and mixed reality experiences tailored to Ghanaian industries. This role is pivotal in advancing Unity’s mission to democratize real-time 3D content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop XR content for educational simulations, industrial training, and cultural heritage preservation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate XR solutions into real-world applications
- Optimize 3D models and animations for performance across multiple platforms
- Conduct user testing and refine content based on feedback
- Stay updated on emerging XR technologies and industry trends
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, or similar XR development platforms
- Strong portfolio showcasing XR projects in education, healthcare, or cultural sectors
- Expertise in 3D modeling (Blender, Maya) and animation
- Experience with AR/VR hardware (Oculus, HoloLens)
- Excellent problem-solving and creative storytelling abilities
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in XR development are a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of professional experience in XR content creation, with a focus on real-world applications. Experience in Ghanaian cultural or educational contexts is highly advantageous.
Salary
15,000 – 25,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and portfolio quality.
