Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and unannounced audits of production facilities, suppliers, and distribution centers.
- Evaluate compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve non-conformities and implement preventive measures.
- Train staff on food safety protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and report on food safety KPIs to senior management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in food safety auditing or quality assurance roles.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (Ghanaian and international).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Food Safety Auditor) are an advantage.
Experience
- 3-5 years in food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance.
- Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
Salary
12,000 – 15,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
