Job Overview

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in Cape Coast, Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for our operations in Ghana, including sourcing, purchasing, and contracting with suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in managing complex procurement projects and negotiating with suppliers. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement process for our operations in Ghana, including sourcing, purchasing, and contracting with suppliers
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. procurement, logistics, business administration)
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
