This position leads the planning, execution, and monitoring of renewable energy projects in Ghana, including solar, wind, and hybrid systems. Key Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for renewable energy initiatives
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure technical compliance
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new energy projects
- Monitor project progress and report to senior management and clients
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality protocols
- Engage with local communities to address concerns and promote project benefits
Required Skills
- Proven experience in renewable energy project management
- Strong knowledge of solar/wind energy systems and grid integration
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to analyze technical data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Fluency in English and basic understanding of local Ghanaian languages
Education
Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Renewable Energy or Project Management is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years in managing energy projects, preferably in Africa. Experience with Ghana Jobs in the energy sector is highly desirable.
Salary
8,000 – 12,000 Ghanaian Cedi monthly, depending on experience and qualifications.
