Job Overview

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the design, analysis, and execution of structural components for large‑scale construction projects in Accra and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed structural designs for commercial, residential, and mixed‑use projects using advanced software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and Revit.
  • Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and design verification to ensure compliance with Ghanaian building codes and international standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and drafters, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction managers to integrate structural solutions seamlessly into overall project plans.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited university is required. Professional registration with the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE) or equivalent is highly desirable.

Experience

Candidates must possess at least five to seven years of progressive experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects from concept through construction.
