Job Overview
The Hospitality Revenue Manager will play a critical role in maximizing the hotel’s profitability through strategic pricing, inventory management, and market analysis. This position requires a data-driven professional who can interpret complex market trends and translate them into actionable revenue strategies. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that our room rates, package deals, and seasonal promotions are optimized to capture maximum demand while maintaining high occupancy levels. This is a high-impact role that directly influences the financial success of our Elmina property.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize ADR and RevPAR.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to forecast demand accurately.
- Manage distribution channels including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking engines.
- Collaborate with the Sales department to create profitable group and corporate packages.
- Monitor booking patterns and adjust pricing dynamically to respond to market shifts.
- Provide regular revenue reports and performance analysis to the General Manager.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in revenue management software and Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a focus on data interpretation.
- Exceptional communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Deep understanding of the West African hospitality market and seasonal tourism trends.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certification in Revenue Management is highly advantageous.
Experience
Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in revenue management or commercial roles within a luxury hotel environment. Proven track record of increasing RevPAR and managing complex distribution channels is essential.
