Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Automation Engineer to join our specialized engineering team in Pofia. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop customized automation control systems for diverse manufacturing processes.
- Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and software issues in automated production lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new hardware and software into existing systems.
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to determine client requirements for automation upgrades.
- Perform regular maintenance and performance optimization on installed industrial control systems.
- Develop technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, logic flowcharts, and user manuals.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal preferred).
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, HMI, and industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus).
- Expertise in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing system failures.
- Excellent project management skills to handle multiple installation timelines.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and technical teams.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. Candidates with advanced certifications in industrial automation or specialized software training will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, specifically within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment. Proven experience in commissioning large-scale automated systems and managing complex electrical installations is highly desirable.
