Job Overview
This role involves designing and implementing strategies to integrate circular economy principles into Tetra Pak Ghana’s operations. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sustainable supply chain solutions, reduce waste, and enhance resource efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute circular economy strategies aligned with corporate sustainability goals.
- Conduct lifecycle assessments of packaging materials and production processes.
- Partner with suppliers and stakeholders to establish closed-loop systems for resource recovery.
- Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics, including carbon footprint reduction.
- Lead training programs to promote circular economy practices across departments.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in circular economy frameworks and sustainable business practices.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating environmental impact data.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of Ghanaian environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Proficiency in sustainability software tools (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi).
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced degree or certification in Circular Economy or Sustainability Management preferred.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, environmental management, or circular economy implementation.
- Previous work in the packaging, manufacturing, or renewable energy sectors is advantageous.
Salary
150,000 – 200,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
