Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive quality assurance plans for electronic assembly lines.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and testing of components and finished products.
  • Analyze defect data, perform root‑cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality standards early in the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 9001, IEC 60601, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports, metrics, and dashboards for senior management.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen methodologies.
  • Train production staff on quality procedures, inspection techniques, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and quality control tools.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (Minitab, JMP) and data visualization.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, IPC standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
  • Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Ability to lead workshops, audits, and training sessions.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing concepts.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required. Candidates with additional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt, or ISO auditor qualifications will be given preference.

Experience

The ideal applicant will have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in quality assurance or quality control within an electronics manufacturing environment. Experience working in a multinational corporation and exposure to global supply chains are advantageous.

Salary
