Job Overview
The Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all Pfizer Ghana products meet stringent regulatory and internal quality standards. This position involves conducting comprehensive quality assessments, supporting audit activities, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing manufacturing processes, validating analytical methods, and maintaining documentation in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non‑routine quality audits of manufacturing and laboratory processes.
- Review and approve batch records, deviation reports, and change controls.
- Perform data analysis on stability studies, analytical test results, and process validation activities.
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and update quality management system (QMS) documentation, ensuring compliance with GMP and local regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external inspections by preparing documentation and providing technical expertise.
- Participate in risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and ICH guidelines.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and quality software (e.g., QMS, LIMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder interaction.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or a Master’s degree in a relevant field are advantageous and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance, preferably within a GMP‑regulated environment. Experience with audit preparation, deviation management, and regulatory submissions will be highly valued.
Salary
